This is officially the first post in my blog, “Dolls, Dragons, and Daily Life.”
I’ll start with a little about me:
My name is Ronnie. I am a 22 year old animal lover with a slew of imperfections, and a slight addiction to spider solitaire.
Recently I came across the “If I knew I could not fail” list, which -in short- is a list each person makes for themselves of things they would do if they knew that failure was impossible. At the top of my list was 1) Write a blog, and 2) Start my own business. The idea of the list is to first write it, then face your fears, and finally- just do it! So here I am; I’m researching business, and I’m writing a blog.
So what is this blog about anyway?
It’s a little bit of everything. I carefully chose my blog title, “Dolls, Dragons, and Daily Life” to give an idea of what I’ll be writing.
As stated above, I’m looking into starting my own business; when/if that ever takes flight, my business will deal with dolls. I’ve always had a love for dolls, I started making my own dolls 5 or 6 years ago, and I have been constantly researching dolls of all kinds. Some of the posts on this blog will be about that research, I’ll share what I find interesting, let you know where to buy the best dolls, and maybe eventually sell them straight to you!
However, I easily get bored with repetition. So, I won’t be writing about dolls with every post. I will also be writing about day-to-day life, and self improvement. I’m always trying to be a better person. I’ve seen through other bloggers that sharing your progress can help increase it. So, here’s to hoping that we can grow together!
Then there is that middle word- Dragons. Let’s face it, dragons are just cool. I’ve often imagined how awesome life would be if I were an adventurer, seeking out advice from a wise and powerful dragon. Anything I write that isn’t about dolls or daily life will be written to remind you that Adventure is ‘out there’, but it is also in ‘here’. Meaning, it is in your heart, in your soul, in your very being. All you have to do is look for it.
Until next time,
